Establishment of ISTE Chapter

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) was founded in the year 1967 with a mission to advance for the cause of education in general and all its function which pertain to engineering and allied branches of engineering and technology, architecture and town planning, pharmacy, management, process of teaching and learning, research, extension services and public relations in particular.

ISTE is the largest technical society in India and the main goal is to serve as a common agency for stimulating and guiding its members to formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education for the service of mankind and the advancement of general welfare.

14th ISTE Convention for ISTE Odisha Chapter at ABIT Cuttack

The 14th Annual Convention of ISTE Odisha Section was held on 7th & 8th January 2012 at Ajay Binay Institute of Technology, Cuttack. On this occasion, a seminar on the topic “Technical Education in India-its Impact on Industrial Growth and Social Development” was also organized.
